We are very happy to announce that His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche<\/b> will give a 9 days series of teachings and initiations in Nalanda during his 2026 European tour!<\/p>

His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche is one of the greatest living\u00a0 masters in the Gelug tradition. He received an excellent education as well as many oral transmissions and initiations from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and others great teachers of different traditions.<\/p>

Rinpoche is renowned for his sharp intelligence and erudition, his ability to teach to Western students, his humility and immense kindness.\u00a0<\/p>

Jhado Rinpoche accepted to give:

\u00a0 \u00a0 – the Guhyasamaja initiation

1954<\/strong>: Tenzin Jungne was born in a nomadic family in the area of Namtso Lake, 220 km north of Lhassa in Tibet.
1957<\/strong>: He was enthroned as the 6th reincarnation of the Abbot of Jhado Monastery.
1959<\/strong>: After fleeing Tibet, Rinpoche lived briefly in Nepal and later spend several years in North India where he completed his basic studies.
1964<\/strong>: Rinpoche received his novice ordination from His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
1973<\/strong>: Rinpoche received his full ordination from the late Ling Rinpoche.
1972 to 1990<\/strong>: Rinpoche studied in Sera Jey Monastery (South India) and then at the Gyut\u00f6 Tantric Monastic University.
1991<\/strong>: Rinpoche passed successfully the examination of Geshe Lharampa, the highest level of education in the Gelug tradition. He then went on to continue his studies at the Gyut\u00f6 Tantric college lower Dharamsala.
1992 to 1996:<\/strong> Rinpoche served at a teacher at Namgyal Monastery<\/a> (Dharamsala) the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
1997 to 2004<\/strong>: Rinpoche was appointed as the Abbot of Namgyal Monastery.<\/p><\/div>

In order to receive the Most Secret Hayagriva initiation <\/strong>(wang<\/em>), one will have to take the bodhisattva vows and the tantric vows.
The commitment <\/strong>is to recite the six sessions of Guru Yoga\u00a0 daily. There might be some additional commitments such as a daily recitation of few mantras, etc.<\/p>

The commitment to receive the Experiential Commentary on the Guru puja <\/strong>(nyamtri<\/em>) is to recite the Guru Puja (or Lama Ch\u00f6pa) daily for life (it means to read the LC verses only without the tsog, it takes about 15 to 20mn). There is no exception. Rinpoche said if he accepts exception, his commentary can not be a nyamtri<\/em>. It would be a general explanation on the seven limbs, etc.
Una nyamtri<\/em> is given through a fourfold explanation. The explanation of the topic for each day will be done three times daily. At the beginning of the session on the next day, the explanation is given for the fourth time before continuing with the next topic for the day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
