Geshe Namdak Teachings at Nalanda 2020

Venerable Geshe Namdak is coming to Nalanda again! This time he will explain the view of ultimate reality by relating it to the eight uncommon points of the Prasangika School of Buddhist philosophy; planting the seeds for realizing emptiness.

Realizing the View

Understanding the view of emptiness is essential in our path to liberation and enlightenment, without it the root of disturbing emotions cannot be eliminated. Venerable Geshe Namdak will clearly explain the view of ultimate reality by relating it to the eight uncommon points of the Prasangika School of Buddhist philosophy; planting the seeds for realizing emptiness.

Please note that the level of the teachings will require that participants are already familiar with more fundamental Buddhist philosophical schools or tenets.

About the teacher

Geshe Namdak

geshe namdakGeshe Namdak studied for 20 years at Sera Jey, one of the great Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in India, where he received his geshe degree 2017. He continued his practice at Gyume Tantric College for one year and was also appointed by the office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to teach monastic conduct to Western aspirants in Dharamsala, India. Geshe Namdak is currently the resident teacher at Jamyang Centre, London.

Schedule

Both Saturday and Sunday:

09:00 – 12:30 with a short tea break.
15:00 – 18:00 with a short tea break.

If there is an interest we will arrange a session of additional discussion groups during the days.
