In 2024, the FPMT Planetary Crises Summit was hosted by Jamyang Centre in London. This year Maitreya Institute in Amsterdam will organize the event in a new hybrid format where centers across Europe unite to join together for the Summit over two days.

Theme
The planetary crises refer to a set of interconnected global challenges such as war, climate changes, over explotations of natural ressources, biodiversity loss, collapse of ecosystem, etc. that together pose a profound threat of life on Earth.
Together we can make a difference and inspire others.
Here is a rich program of presentation/teaching, meditation and dialogue.

RESILIENT TO BE
EMPOWERED TO ACT
Our positive influence can change the Planetary Crises.

Why to participate ?
Because you are aware
- of the climate changes and touched by what is happening in the world;
- of the suffering it implies to all types of beings and have the wish to free them from sufferings;
- that root of this crise is the grasping to more profits and individualism;
- that the Buddhist approach can offer solution to this global and interdependant crises by curing the mind.
Because you want
- to gain insights into how we can remain calm, mindful and efficient in order to act together with wisdom and compassion;
- to be a support and feel supported by a community in these challenging times;
