Reality and Four Close Placements of Mindfulness

Online teachings by Geshe Namdak

9 - 10 October 2021

09:00 - 12:15 (CET)

About the teachings

The two truths are fundamental teachings of the Buddha. How are these conventional and ultimate realities explained in the different schools of Buddhist philosophy, and how can we use them in our practices of the paths to liberation and enlightenment?

Geshe Namdak will explain the two truths and the 16 aspects of the four noble truths, according to different schools of thought, and will teach us how to use this knowledge in our meditations of the Four Close Placements of Mindfulness, mentioned in Maitreya’s Clear Ornament of Realizations.

Please note that the teachings were planned to be hosted at Nalanda, but because of the pandemic and travel regulations geshe Namdak will teach online from Jamyang Centre, London. The teachings will be live-streamed.

Due to Covid regulations Nalanda cannot host more listeners in our meditation hall. If you are interested in Geshe Namdak’s teachings, and you are not part of a the community (student, volunteer, resident) we ask you to please follow the teachings online.
