Liberation Box
for the end of this life
To help dying and deceased for a fortunate rebirth
Together with FPMT Education Services, Nalanda Monastery’s Taller de arte sacro is providing to all of European countries the Liberation Box, a very special set to help people at the end of their lives and during their journey towards a good rebirth.
Assembled according to Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s specific advice on what a person should hear, see, and have placed on their body, the “Liberation Box” contains powerful methods for ensuring a fortunate rebirth for those who have died or are in the process of dying.
The set includes:
- Essentials at the Time of Death : is an advice booklet by Lama Zopa Rinpoche on how to use various holy objects to help the dying and the deceased.
- A Liberation Card : is a colourful card containing images and mantras that, by merely being seen, helps a dying person to be purified of negative karma and to be led to enlightenment.
- Three holy objects to place on the body of the person in the process of dying.
- “The Array of Sukhavati Pure Land” : a concise Mahayana sutra booklet.
- Mantras to Recite for the Dying
- Lama Atisha Kadampa Stupa filled with four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras
- Phowa pill : “phowa” means “transference” in Tibetan. Placing this pill on the crown of the dying or dead person before or after the breath stops, clarifies the mind and helps it to migrate to a fortunate rebirth.
- Mani pill : this pill helps in purifying one’s mind and generating virtuous thoughts.
- A blessing string
- A khata
In the “Liberation Box”, all materials included are in English.
Translations in French, German, Italian and Spanish will be available on this page soon.
