Losar holds a special place in our hearts as we remember the anniversary of the parinirvana of the founder of FPMT and Nalanda Monastery, Lama Yeshe. In honor of this occasion, Lama Zopa Rinpoche has encouraged centers to offer students the opportunity to engage in an extensive Lama Chopa with tsog. We will be holding the puja at 7 PM and it will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel for those who wish to join us virtually.

It’s worth mentioning that Losar and the subsequent fifteen days are considered particularly auspicious as they are believed to be merit-multiplying days. According to the Vinaya text “Treasure of Quotations and Logic”, the merit of virtuous actions performed during this time can be multiplied by 100 million. Join us for the Second Gelug Monlam that will start on 11 March 2025 for 5 days!
